Three days to see:- Helen Keller

Imagine you have to live in world which is full of darkness and in complete silence, where you cannot even hear your own voice, and then you get only three days to meet people, to see the world actually how it is, to hear the chirping birds, to see a colorful world ,then how would you spend your those three days.

Three days to see is a beautifully written story by Helen Keller. The story is best for the people who are sad, depressed, or are not happy with their lives, complaining about most of the things. Helen Keller Became deaf and blind when she was only 2 years old and due to the help of her first teacher" Anne Sullivan" she learns how to read, write and many more things which a normal person did in his daily lives.

Helen Keller wanted to tell people to be grateful if they are living, if they have a very normal human body. Helen started the story with a thinking that it would be a blessing for the people of they become deaf ain't blind for a few days, then they would realise the value of their eyes, then the darkness would teaches them how to appreciate the sight, then the complete silence would taught them how beautiful the sounds actually are.

Later in the story Helen is telling that she recently visited one of her friend who just came home after a long walk, then Helen asked her friend "what did you see while you are walking? "her friend told her nothing special, after knowing this thing Hallen was shocked, cuz how it is possible to go for a walk for an hour and found nothing special. She is saying that she is blind but whenever she goes to a garden she touches the leaves of trees feels it's textures, she touches the trunk of the tree and found immense happiness when she touches the branches of trees to find any bud.

She is blind but due to her sense of touching she saw the world and found it very beautiful. And she is also telling that if she is blind and seeing the world this much beautiful, then how beautiful it actually looks like when we see it from our eyes. Helen is also telling that if she was the president of an university then she would set up a course on "How to use your eyes ?" and then she is asking us that how we spend the next three days of our life if they were the last three days to see, after that we only see darkness and listen no sound.

Helen then told us that if she was granted only three days to see and hear then she would divide three days into three parts.                                                                                      On the first day she meets with that every person with whom she never realised that she is dead and blind, she firstly meet with her teacher Mrs. Anne   Sullivan Macy, due to whom Helen was able to do various things. She meets with her friends, she know them from the feel of their face, when she meets with them she saw them reacting on her words, she used to stare at their eyes for so long.

She also wants to see a baby, she wanted to see the eagerness, the innocence and the happiness in him, she wanted to look in the eyes of his dog, she wanted to see the books she is reading for so long, she wanted to see people reading, she wanted to see every simple thing in his home from the painting on the wall to her clothes.

On the afternoon at that  she wanted to go into the woods and see the world. She doesn't want to miss any single thing to see, while returning she wanted to go to a farm so that she can see horses ploughing.

At evening she wanted to see the beautiful sunset. At the night of that day she was unable to sleep coz she has a lot of memories stored in his head.

On the second day,she wanted to go to national museum where she used to touch every thing but then she was able to see the wide history, then her next stop would be a museum of art where people have put all of their feeling in their painting.

At the evening of the second day she would like to spend it at a theatre where she finally see the movie which were previously told at hands by a companion.  At night she rewind everything she saw during the day.

On the third and the last day of her sight, while staring the journey of another day of sight from her home she wanted to see the forests, the rivers, the near little houses and she wanted to go at the top of the Empire State building and see the world from a different heights.

Then she began her round to explore the city, she firstly stand at a busy corner and see people and try to understand something of their lives, she see them smiling, talking and that thing makes her happy.

Then she stroll down to fifth avenue and then she wanted to see the park avenue where children are playing, she see the slums, the factories.

Her heart would be full of memories, in the three days she see very pleasant sights which make her heart happy and bouncing but some are unpleasant, sad or ugly but she don't want to close her eyes for them because they too are a part of life.

Now the three days of her sight are coming to an end, she was unable to see everything what she wanted to within those three days, and she is also saying that we people didn't follow the same plan if we have come to know that we are going to become blind after three days.

Although, Helen spent the three days of sight very effectively. She is telling us that if we became blind for three days only then after those three days our eyes will learn how to embrace the beauty in very little things, how to appreciate the people we have, how to love every moment.

Helen is saying that we people have eyes to see so use your eyes like you would lose them tomorrow forever, listen to chirp of birds, listen to songs and people ,like you lose your ability to hear tomorrow, touch everything like you will lose your sense of touching tomorrow.
